We had a decent turn out last Sunday for the Forest Hill Stanza open mic. I also met someone who is a first year on the Art Psychotherapy MA, so it’s nice to have these connections. Otherwise, work is very much picking up, with a lot of outreach work as well as on the hospital wards!

I had a stressful start to the week due to being overtaxed and the cost of living as a single person being so much, with difficulties to do with technically being self-employed whilst my income is 99% PAYE now… so a lot of time spent calling up to cancel my TV licence now The Traitors is finished, Thames Water to get financial support, and HMRC (which I never got through to in time!). I also have been basically charged twice for my monthly season ticket due to an error, and it’s taking way too long to get my “automatic” refund.

I’m excited to have some paid work accepted for publication, though I’m not sure if it’s public news yet so I’ll hold onto it until it’s released! This weekend is due to be quite a busy one socially, so I’m unsure if I’ll be able to make time for much creativity, or even much rest! I’m looking forward to some fun plans, but also looking forward to a bit of a calmer weekend next week!
