Freelance Reflections #193

I went to Barnsley to visit my nan last weekend, so it was a lot of travelling, but I got in some films and audiobook time, and relaxed with my nan going on a stroll and playing a couple of games. I also went home via a delicious Polish restaurant called Salt & Pepper.

I spent Sunday putting on the Forest Hill library open mic, and actioning points for the rejected ACE bid. I was locked in until around 9pm. I had a couple more days of annual leave, so on the Monday I focussed on writing, which felt emotional but fulfilling. I hope to spend some time on writing projects over the bank holiday weekend.

On the Tuesday I spent all day getting some new tattoos with my tax rebate money! All my tattoos have been done by women and this was done by the wonderful Bogi at Lost Soul Society in Penge, which is sadly following in the footsteps of Inkwa and closing soon!
