Freelance Reflections #168

I’m on a mission to complete my first draft of the Final Clinical Report, knowing it’s going to need a lot of work. I’ve gone from feeling overwhelmed about the literature review, to feeling okay, to feeling it’s complete rubbish… whilst also aware I need to read more and add more and edit more. Now, I’m starting to look at the discussion element, I’m also feeling completely overwhelmed and uncertain how to go about it.

birthday list: Haikubes

I’ve confirmed a new student for a couple of hours a week, kept one I thought I’d lose and re-started with the new one from last month. I’ve got the She Grrrowls event at the National Poetry Library this coming Wednesday and currently there are only eight tickets left, so that’s exciting! A lot of the time I feel like it’s a mindset adjustment when changing between assignments and placement and each different type of work. Whilst looking forward to this period ending, I also want to try to be present. These sunny days are helping to lift my mood.

come find me in the kitchen

Last weekend I also briefly popped into a friend’s birthday party before I had to host the Forest Hill Stanza. Aside from that, it’s just been a full focus on the placement and assignments, which I’m about to get back on with now!
