For International Women’s Day I went to Lady HaHa at The Playhouse, in Norwich. Subsequently visiting the Red Card Comedy Club, my boyfriend and I were more entertained at the former event. It was pretty difficult to pick a favourite act from the all-female line-up, but I came to the conclusion that Jessica Fostekew should make the list of artists featured here.
She is someone I would definitely recommend seeing live and want to see perform again myself. She is – plain and simple – a extremely funny stand-up comedian, whatever your gender. Also, she is wearing a dress that I believe I saw in H&M years ago and always regretted not buying.
